Were seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic)-CASE Dealership who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced company. Primary Responsibilities Maintains a high technician utilization with minimal idle time Performs diagnostic and repairs on heavy construction equipment Driver to and from job site to repair heavy construction equipment Repairs are completed correctly the first time, with no service redos Works efficiently to do a good job in a minimum amount of time Completes all paperwork and reporting; insures all paperwork is submitted within the allowed timeframes, and with complete information Inspects equipment and reports to Manager and /or Customer when additional repairs are required, preventing possible customer dissatisfaction and increasing Service Department revenue opportunities Assist team members or Managers as needed Observes the companys safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations. Develops and maintains relationships with current customers. Be proactive and assist in the process to solve any customer problem or situation. All other duties related to the position and other requested by supervisor. Skills & Qualifications An associates degree or trade school certification in Diesel mechanics or other heavy equipment machinery; or at least 6 months prior experience in technician role. Must have excellent attention to detail. Work with the service team to manage work orders and make sure work is completed in a timely fashion. Be able to communicate with customers about issues and timelines regarding equipment.
