LABOR CATEGORY : Journeyman I AEYON POSITION TITLE : SME (I, II, III, IV based on career ladder) LOCATION : Tampa, FL (Hybrid 2-3 days on site) JOB DESCRIPTION : Aeyon Consulting is seeking candidates with accounting and auditing experience to meet USSOCOM''s intent of obtaining an unmodified audit opinion, while simultaneously supporting financial reporting requirements and audit remediation. This support will lead to ensuring auditability of USSOCOM financial statements. The contractor will also be tasked with sustaining the auditability upon completion. Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following: Assist to maintain and improve upon USSOCOM''s process and internal control effectiveness and documentation to ensure that the requirements set forth in OMB A-123 and OUSD(C)''s FIAR Guidance and Guidebooks are continually met Support the creation, maintenance, testing, remediation, and validation of business processes owned by USSOCOM and/or impacting USSOCOM''s internal control environment and/or Financial Statements to include fully documenting all recommended modifications to the process flows, narratives, any weaknesses identified, and corrective actions developed Includes evaluation, sustainment, and enhancement of existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process Narratives, Process Flows, Key Control Points, Quantitative Drill Downs, Risk Matrices, Key Supporting Documentation (KSD) Matrices, corrective action plans, and process and control validation testing Support the creation, development, and resolution of CAPS Work with SOFM and other stakeholders to execute the corrective plans as well as aiding with ensuring the success of the corrective actions to include recommending appropriate testing methods and supporting the functional SMEs, FIAR representatives, and SOFM in the development of test plans and the performance of testing to validate effective CAP implementation Produce briefing materials for upward reporting of Audit Remediation and Sustainment efforts utilizing available data sources as well as data call methods to create, draft, review, and update briefing materials to convey accurate and timely information regarding USSOCOM''s Audit Remediation and Sustainment activities Support MOUs/MOAs and monitor compliance o include: Draft complex Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) or Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs) to document roles and responsibilities between parties that impact USSOCOM Audit Remediation and Sustainment Update existing MOUs and MOAs as necessary Draft or modify complex Standard Operating Procedures to document procedures and included policies for new and existing programs, lines of business, or governmental actions Perform process mapping with functional SMEs to develop Standard Operating Procedures and Process Narratives Document deviations from existing Standard Operating Procedures where sufficient to meet operational and audit requirements CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : TS/SCI - Secret EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or another related field CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : CPA, CDFM, CGFM and/or DoD FM Cert preferred EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Journeyman I - 5 years Accountant, Auditor or Audit Remediation Specialist (3 of last 10 years in DoD / Fed Government) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the performance of job responsibilities as described in this posting.
