IT Project Manager Description:Direct Hire. Hybrid remote and onsite.Responsibilities:Projects are software implementations or upgrades and some infrastructureAssemble project teams with the required skill sets, lead team, facilitate meetings, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to insure timely completion of projectAccurately define scope of projects and provide detailed estimates of labor and resources required to accomplish projectFollow pre-defined methodology and process and conduct impact analysis when material changes need to be madeMonitor project progress and ensure resource hours, financial budget, and duration do not exceed agreed upon thresholdsDevelop project plans to a prescribed standard and in a software tool defined by IT managementAssist in the resource and financial budget estimation process for potential IT projectsProduce weekly and monthly project status reports to a prescribed format and standardNegotiate contracts under the supervision of IT executives and LegalFacilitate development and quality control of all project deliverablesConduct post-implementation reviews of assigned projectsPerform risk management analysis and develop comprehensive mitigation plan for identified risksEscalate issues to direct supervisor in a timely mannerDevelop comprehensive project plans using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in the project schedule tool selected by the Project Management Office (PMO)Estimate duration and effort for project tasksMeasure critical project metrics (budget, resource hours, critical milestone dates, etc.)Other duties as requiredSkills & Experience:Associate''s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related fieldAt least 6 years of progressive IT work experienceAt least 2 years of experience managing medium complexity information systems projectsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification issued from the Project Management Institute (PMI)Familiarity with at least one project portfolio management tool such as MS Project ServerKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookOutstanding oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsFor 25 years, Millennium Consulting has been a leader in professional staffing.
