The leadman is responsible for the safe and efficient production of materials on site.Great benefits including 100% paid medical insurance for you and your family! ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Safety Ensure all work is done with a safety-first attitude in accordance with MSHA and H&K safety policies. Government Interact professionally with DEP and MSHA inspectors.Ensure site is compliant with MSHA, EPA & DEP regulations and township requirements. Personnel/Administration Build team through mentoring, training, and disciplining.Report employee progress and regress to supervisor.Assign daily work and assist with setup.Provide employees with proper tools and equipment to complete work to H&K standards.Create a positive work environment.Lead weekly safety meetings and daily plete all required paperwork and submit in timely manner.Attend all necessary meetings.Ensure site is free of any materials that would create a hostile work environment or violate and company policy.Ensure proper training is completed by all employees (MSHA and task training). Communicate regularly with Superintendent. Production Maximize plant & employees for production at lowest total delivered cost.Schedule blasting, drilling and coordinate stripping in superintendent''s absence.Identify maintenance needs, prioritize needs, and schedule maintenance.Order parts for plant.
