Elastic/Linux Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview Illuminate seeks an exceptionally qualified Elastic/Linux Engineer to support an ongoing government customer. Responsibilities * Participate in developing and maintaining a full Elastic Search/Logstash/Kibana (ELK) Stack which incorporates multiple data feeds and provides dashboard visualizations. * Maintain existing Elastic architecture and develop new capability in our cloud based environment * Maintain and establish new data flows and processing * Create data visualizations (dashboards) in Kibana allowing the customer to easily monitor various aspects of system health. * Support software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration. Qualifications * Clearance: Top Secret//SCI * Polygraph: current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph * Experience in managing Elastic data flows a must * Experience working in Linux environment a must * Experience developing AWS based infrastructure preferred * Experience coding hardened web applications to NIST SP 800-53 preferred * Required Education and Experience * High School Diploma/ GED 12 * Associates Degree 10 * Bachelors Degree 8 * Masters Degree 6 * PHD 4 * IAT Level II (One of the Following) * CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP * CSSP Infrastructure Support (One of the Following) * CEH, CySA+ **, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, CND Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree, Experience with NIST SP 800-53 a big plus, Experience with Cybersecurity operations, experience developing withing DIA''s Risk Management Framework a big plus. * Experiencing in creating visualizations in Kibana a plus * Experience with Cyber Security, Cyber Network Defense Applications a big plus Equal employment opportunity employer: All employment decisions shall be made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other basis as protected by federal, state, or local law.
