Belleview Ave., 200Littleton, CO 80127 Division/Department: Program ManagementJob Title: Program ManagerReports to: Director of Program ManagementDate: 2022 GENERAL PURPOSEResponsible for managing one or more programs with financial and strategic targets. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing program-specific strategies, for the sustainable profitability of the program(s), in line with budgetary goals and timelines. The Program Manager shall be responsible for leading and coordinating effective cross-functional team efforts to include Engineering, Product Support, Quality, and Manufacturing organizations. Thoroughly understands the customer''s requirements from specifications and statements of work and addresses these requirements throughout the complete design, test, and production build process. The Program Manager is responsible for identifying adequate resources, both personnel and material, to successfully meet program objectives. The Program Manager is the primary point of contact with the customer and responsible for management of cost and schedule, on-time deliverables, as well as day-to-day coordination of program activities. This position requires an active US DOD Security Clearance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Leads, manages and ensures effective communication and cooperation among program team members. • Oversees all program management functions including Cost management, Schedule execution, and issue resolution. • Serves as the primary management point-of-contact with the customer throughout the program and maintains excellent customer communication. • Prepares and presents program status reports to Executive Management team and to customers. • Manages the development and implementation of corrective action plans when deviations from budget and/or schedules are evident. • Manage contractual efforts using earned value processes to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Participate in the development, review and negotiation of contract modifications. • Researches, collects data, analyzes problems and recommends solutions. • Prepares documentation and reports to support and reflect progress on requirements, goals, objectives, action items, upcoming events, issues and concerns. • Formally identifies, assesses, monitors and mitigates risk throughout the program life cycle. • Facilitates discussion with management and gains approval for decisions needed that may impactestablished program, cost and schedule objectives. • Assists in establishing priorities based on customer''s needs, production and critical milestones. • Travels to customer/vendor locations on an as needed basis. OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES • Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY DUTIES • None. JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY • This position requires an active US DOD Security Clearance. • Demonstrated knowledge of establishing milestones, project planning and implementation, (execution skills) while meeting commitments, prioritizing, scheduling, planning, anticipating obstacles and managing risk. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficient in formal and informal discussions at all levels of the business, customer, and supplier organizations. • Maintains a professional presence in all business settings. • Solid leadership and management skills, including conflict resolution. • An understanding of all aspects of aviation engineering design from concept to production phases. • Proficient using MS Office. EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING • BA/BS degree is required; advanced degrees in Business Engineering or Operations a plus. • PMI Certification desired. EXPERIENCE • 5-7 years of experience as a Program Manager is desired • Experience in Proposal Development for Department of Defense Clients, from Request for Quote/Proposal through Contract Negotiations. • Experience with Earned Value Management and Integrated Master Scheduling required • Experience with electro-optics design techniques and laser radar is a plus. • Experience with metrics for assessing and reporting program progress, productivity, and variance analysis. • Experience in the development of Statements of Work, Work Breakdown Structures, resource usage plans, requirements analysis, engineering change proposals and schedule development and integration. • Experience working with Epicor, or related ERP system is desired. • Windchill experience desired. • Experience working with engineering, technical and manufacturing staff. WORKING ENVIRONMENT • Work primarily in office and lab environment.
