Description TMIT Engineer Analyst SME, Air Warfare San Diego, CA Responsibilities: Perform as an Engineer Analyst SME, Air Warfare for Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific TYCOM Material Inspection Team (TMIT). The Engineer Analyst will conduct material checks on respective functional area-related equipment and systems in support of TYCOM Readiness Evaluation (READ-E) inspections and assist visits. As an Air Warfare SME, you will be responsible for assessing the material condition of the Combat Systems Air Warfare functional area through the execution of a series of material checks delineated in INSURV Inspection Guides (IIG). As a SME, you will provide instruction to shipboard Sailors in the proper execution of the INSURV SOE and material checks during Assist Visits. As a TMIT inspector, you will record all identified deficiencies in TMIT final report template using the INSURV writing guide format. Requirements: * High School Degree * Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Clearance * 20 years of documented hands-on Navy shipboard Air Warfare experience. * Three (3) at sea tours working in an Air Warfare capacity. * Experience operating and maintaining Air Warfare related equipment and support systems. Desired: * Experience as an Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV). * Experience as an inspector at the Afloat Training Group or TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations * Experience as a AEGIS SPY or SSDS technician ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
