PROJECT COST ENGINEER PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Send resumes to Manages Primavera P6 capital project portfolio; works with the Project, Program and Construction Managers developing level 1 and Master schedule during planning Design & Engineering, Procurement and execution phases of project and program following Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies and best practices.Performs enterprise and project Baseline scheduling, weekly, monthly update, delay analysis, lookahead, forensic scheduling and integration of labor, material and equipment resources.Oversees, monitors and evaluates the overall program schedule of projects; develop Project schedule management plans, Manuals/playbook for end user, coordinates and monitors the schedules of contractors and ensure to incorporate updates in to Program Master schedule,Coordinates the delivery of services, develops performance measures cost and schedule KPI''s, manages productivity through earn value management methodologies to improve operations and services during capital construction; participates in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems, issues and conflicts pertaining to the capital construction program.Manages the allocation of resources to achieve timely outcomes and measurable goals including resource allocation.Analyzes contractors'' construction schedules to identify any duration or logistic issues, review and analyze critical path, mitigate risk, reviews time impact due to proposed changes, and provides support for construction claims and change orders.Prepares, coordinates, and administers schedules for capital programs; monitors actual hours versus budgeted hours; provides senior management with practical options and recommendations regarding potential schedule over-runs or other schedule issues; and participates in other schedule-related activities.Prepares projects bi-weekly monthly and quarterly reports memoranda and correspondence; makes presentations for Project Managers and Senior leaderships KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor''s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical fields from a US Department of Education accredited college or university, and six years of progressively responsible experience in construction management and scheduling, including four (8) years of full-time experience managing Primavera P6 EPM/EPPM software. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project scheduling Professional (PSP) certification. Strong organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communications skills required. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) - provided by Dice
