With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, aerospace, cyber, space and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.This position will provide functional support for macro-level supply & demand planning through close partnership with the manufacturing plants, program managers, and business development teams to build a comprehensive view of demand, supply and capacity. role will help drive the identification of actions for evaluation including capital expenditures, insourcing or outsourcing activities and associated timing, facility management and planning, equipment utilization, and manpower levels while ensuring customer requirements are met. position will collaborate with Plant Managers, Program Managers, and the Business Development Teams on the development of a standardized metric dashboard to increase visibility and drive efficient action planning and decision making.Key responsibilities will include the following: * Engage with Business Development, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Plant Leadership to understand supply constraints and plan solutions to address gaps between demand forecasts and internal manufacturing and supplier capacities.* Lead and facilitate cross-functional team reviews to develop action plans to enable meeting key customer requirements.* Drive coordination for analyzing changes in forecasts and providing resulting assessments along with recommended strategies to meet demand.* Experience with facility management planning processes relative to capacity planning to meet overall supply and demand planning forecasts.* Establish structure, business rhythm, and continuous improvement into the existing supply and demand planning process to enable robust decision making.* Develop, maintain, and deploy key performance indicators to measure performance against operational plans.* Support the development and implementation of supply, demand, and capacity planning tools and metrics.The candidate selected for this position will be on a functional supply and demand planning team that will support the execution of multiple simultaneous and diverse manufacturing activities within a dynamic and high growth environment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.Candidate must have experience in leadership of macro-level supply and demand planning for Defense, Aerospace, Space or Commercial organizations with proven track record of strong managerial skills working across all functions and levels of an organization with the ability to lead change through the development and implementation of new processes.Technical experience in analyzing data and ability to make sound business judgements related to strategic supply, demand, and capacity initiatives.Candidate must have facility management planning experience to support overall supply and demand forecasts for all programs.Candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills through demonstration of anticipating emerging issues and providing proactive solutions.Candidate must be familiar with engineering change control processes to incorporate into overall supply demand models and forecasts.Candidate must have personnel management or organizational leadership experience, including interviewing, assessing, and hiring new personnel.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. Other Qualifications * Experience with building and implementing a supply and demand planning process including defining tools and business processes through use of continuous improvement principles.* Effectively communicates cross-functionally across the organization and various functions.* Capacity planning experience for overall capacity along with work areas such as fabrication, machining, welding, electronics manufacturing for printed circuit boards, assembly, and test operations with bottleneck identification.* Facility Planning experience* Demonstrates high sense of urgency and an excellent ability to react and resolve constraints.* Experience with facility planning and management for capacity analysis.* Results oriented utilizing sound project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.* Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint accounting software* Familiarity with Solumina MES software* Familiarity with Agile PLM engineering design data management software is a plus* Experience with AS9100, IPC, and DCMA standards* Strong background in the Aerospace Industry Security Requirements Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
