Trained Medication Aide (TMA)- PT Day or Evening

Stoney Point Meadows, a 95-unit senior living community, is hiring Part-Time Trained Medication Aides (TMAs) to join our team! Our new building is nestled in the quiet countryside meadows of southwest Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In addition to idyllic views, staff enjoy being close to shopping, entertainment, and medical services. Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; or 3:00 pm to 11:30 pmBenefits:Competitive wages with credit for experienceTuition Discount Opportunities/ Scholarships/ Student Loan Forgiveness (site specific, ask for details)Paid Time Off (PTO)403(b) or 401(k) with employer matchEmployee Discount ProgramLongevity Recognition, Paid Volunteer Time, and Mentorship ProgramsCollaborative and Inclusive Work CultureEmployee Assistance Program with free confidential counseling/coaching for self and family members Trained Medication Aide responsibilities:Prepare and administer medications in accordance with Stoney Point Meadows policies.Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.Review and follow a written care plan.Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls, feeding and helping residents to the bathroom.Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.Perform other duties as requested.Trained Medication Aide skills and requirements:Current Iowa Nursing Assistant certification required.Must hold current TMA certification in Iowa.Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.Must be able to stand for length of 8-hour shift.Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.Cassias Response to COVID-19:Cassia is serious about your safety and healthit is our number one priority.
