We can''t predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.Ergonomics interns will receive significant projects related to their Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety studies that are challenging and beneficial to the Environmental, Safety and Health organization.Ergonomics Specialist interns work on projects that are related to ergonomics risks in the work environment at TI. Those projects can range from assessing and correcting simple risks in a normal office environment to analyzing very complex ergonomics risks that are unique to the semiconductor manufacturing process.Ergonomics intern projects and responsibilities will include the following:* Interpret, develop, implement and assure compliance to environmental regulations and internal standards* Using data collection and monitoring equipment in the field including, cameras, light meters, force gauges, dosimeters, samplers, and data loggers* Assess ergonomics-related concerns in manufacturing and office environments, quantify risk, recommend countermeasures to reduce risk and document results* Identify ergonomic-related trends and develop actions plans to address issues* Review workstation, furniture and tool designs and finished products to identify ergonomic concerns and provide recommendationsPut your talent to work with us as an Environmental Safety and Health Specialist Intern - change the world, love your job!Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.Minimum Requirements:* Currently pursuing a degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Safety, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Health, or Biomechanics.* Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPAPreferred Qualifications:* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions* Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery* Ability to build strong, influential relationships* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment* Ability to take the initiative and drive for resultsTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.Why TI?* Engineer your future.
