The Video Electrician Systems Tech provides operational support to Walt Disney World''s video network infrastructure. Along with video networking maintenance, the technician supports all associated networking equipment and devices. The Electrician Systems Technician will provide escalation support, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of the Walt Disney Enterprise video network infrastructure. The technician will be expected to provide technical support and onsite consultation to customers and ensure round the clock operational support. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms, ladders, bucket trucks and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.Basic Qualifications : Minimum of 4 years'' experience in a video technology enterprise environment that operates 365 days a yearKnowledge and experience with enterprise video support, cable tv support, sustainment, and the implementation of the network and required equipmentWorking knowledge of Axis camera installation, Samsung camera installation, coax dB level knowledge, RF signal distribution knowledge, low voltage experience, cable locate tools, trenching and outside plant experienceAn understanding of networking characteristics such as: ip routing, switching, OSI model principles, DHCP, VLAN configurationNetworking analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skillsThe ability to read schematicsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesRequired Education : Preferred Education : Associates degreeTechnical degreeNetwork Certifications: CCENT, A+, Networking + Fiber Certifications: FOAAdditional Information : Schedule Availability:Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
