Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Cloud Security Operations Center (SOC) Vulnerability Scans Specialist to join our team located at the National Capital Region (NCR) supporting the Army''s Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) to provide Cloud Common Shared Services). The successful candidate will serve as the Security Operations Center Vulnerability Scans Specialist for cARMY Cloud Common Shared Services, part of the Army''s enterprise cloud environment that includes shared services in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure clouds at IL 2, 4, 5 and 6.The position provides cloud security support to help safeguards networks against unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Researches, evaluates, designs, tests, recommends, communicates, and implements new security software or devices. Implements, enforces, communicates, and may develop cloud, network, or other information security policies or security plans for data, internet, software applications, hardware, and computer installations. The position may use a combination of third-party security vulnerability scanning tools in conjunction with cloud native security monitoring and recommendation reporting services to provide security vulnerability reports. The position may also set up and configure cloud-native automated patching solutions for security and software updates, and provide necessary cybersecurity scans and audit artifacts in support of cARMY (Security scanning reports address security controls required for FedRAMP, DISA STIG, ISO27001 and CSP specific security recommendation services). May also use encryption technology, conduct penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and conduct information technology security research. Prepares security reports to regulatory agencies. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor''s Degree and 10 years'' working experience, or equivalent experience; candidates with Armed Forces cyber courses or Associate Degrees, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.* 4 years'' DoD Cybersecurity including Vulnerability Scans experience with CSSP Certification (within 6 months of taking position) * Breadth of experience with security scanning and security controls required for FedRAMP, DISA STIG, ISO27001 and CSP specific security recommendation services* 8570.01M/ IAT Level II Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Working knowledge of the Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) Version 1 Release 3 (vlr3), or latest version, and the security standards and controls specified in DoDI 8500.01 (Cybersecurity) and 8510.01 (RMF)* ITIL Foundation About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
