Come join our amazing people on the THAAD program as an Associate Engineering Manager, leading a diverse team in fielding a highly mobile defense system providing the critical capability to shoot a missile with a missile enabling the U.S. military to effectively and reliably defend the U.S. and allied assets around the world. In this role you will:• Serve as a technical expert in parts, materials, and processes (PMP) engineering• Assign personnel to technical engineering assignments • Lead the resolution of critical issues• Perform functional management tasks including coaching, group & individual development, and performance management for your team• Coordinate with internal and external customers about a variety of technical assignments We''re looking for:• A self-starter who develops solutions to technical issues• A motivated individual who''s able to work closely within a technically diverse team to resolve technical issues• Someone with the ability to handle shifting priorities, multiple projects and timeline pressure to meet deadlines• Someone comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums• Technical leadership of diverse teams or projects• Typically requires 8+ years of professional experience for this role.• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. Please contact us to request accommodation.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor''s degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Previous technical experience in Parts, Materials, and Process (PMP) engineering. • Familiarity with Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) component manufacturing and qualification. • Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.Desired Skills:• Experience with military standard electronics.• Experience working on military programs• Experience executing EEE component qualification tests• Experience with GIDEP alerts, product change notifications, and similar documentation.• Non-conformance and failure analysis disposition experience• Knowledge of materials and processes for product development, improvement, design, application, and production• Active DOD Secret clearanceBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
