Position Overview Practitioners of National Security are vital to the defense of our nation. ZENETEX takes pride in providing experts who bring specialized skills, techniques, and experience to the help solve the toughest issues facing the Intelligence Community. Our skilled workforce supports all phases of the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) cycle. We are always looking for Intelligence experts to help solve our customer''s needs; we have an immediate opportunity for a mid-level Electrical Engineer with a background in hardware and/or software reverse engineering include microelectronics and firmware/software to produce schematics, software flow, and block diagrams. This position will be based at our customer site in Suitland, MD. Description The Electrical Engineer will provide in-depth research and analysis of foreign systems in support of US Navy efforts to develop and validate weapon design, countermeasures, and tactics. Specific responsibilities will include: * Operate, maintain, and calibrate network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other electronic lab equipment. * Analyze and test electronic systems to include digital, analog, radio frequency (RF), antenna, microcontroller, digital signal processing (DSP), digital forensics, and sensor components. * Perform RF measurements and model/simulate the RF systems using programs such as CST. * Create fixtures, interfaces, and models for testing and analysis. * Create schematics and flowcharts, research electronic components, analyze circuit operation, and photograph/document findings. Qualifications Required: * Minimum 3 years electrical technical engineering experience and knowledge of working in a laboratory environment conducting analysis of RF systems using equipment identified in the position description. * Experience in hardware and/or software reverse engineering * Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) * Demonstrated proficiency in effective communications (writing, speaking, briefing) * Schematic Generation: OrCAD, Altium, EAGLE, KiCAD, Diptrace * Circuit Simulation, measurement, automation: PSpice, LabVIEW * Micro-miniature soldering experience * Software Programming: C/C++, Python, PHP * Software Disassembly: IDA Pro, Ghidra * Digital Forensic: EnCASE, FTK, X-Ways, OSForensics, Autopsy * CAD packages: SolidWorks, NX * Antenna design and simulation: CST Microwave studio suite, Antenna Magus * CompTIA certification: A+, Network+, Security+ Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI) material.
