AM Veterinary Kennel Tech / Tech Assistant (Part Time)

287 Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced part-time Veterinary Kennel Tech / Tech Assistant. Needs to be a dependable, hard-working team member, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with animals. We are looking for an individual with the following abilities:daily cleaning of multiple spacesfeeding/watering petsgiving medicationsletting pets out and supervising them in the yardbathing, nail trimming, and expressing anal glandscleaning kennels between each petpoop scooping multiple yards throughout the daylaundry and washing dishesvacuuming, sweeping; and moppingbringing pets inside when dropped off and returning back to owners when being picked upassisting the veterinary tech by holding for a blood draw, sample collection, and other services as well as reading samples under a microscope. assisting the veterinary tech by holding patients to be sedated for the surgery.assist in taking radiographs; clean surgical instruments and prepare surgical packs for sterilizations; sample set up and clean upclean and straighten exam rooms to prepare for incoming patients refill and restock exam/treatment rooms with appropriate medical supplies and materialsbe familiar with infectious and common zoonotic diseases; including prevention, and the steps to reduce or eliminate transmissionassist in restraining pets in a manner that allows procedures to be done with minimal stress to patients, and ensures the safety of patients and peoplegeneral hospital janitorial duties
