Job DescriptionAsset Protection Security Operations, SpecialistENTRY TO MID LEVEL OPPORTUNITY The AP Specialist is responsible for deployment of asset protection resources to all Corporate, Logistics and Retail locations, as assigned. This position is critical to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Team Members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be novative solution and problem solver!Project/Operations Management.Must be able to recognize and self-diagnose problems, with the intention of finding solutions in creating a more efficient business environment for the team and within Asset Protection.Retail experience, with the ability to manage vendors, balance budgets, develop proficiency in soft skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and other applications as required by business needs.Clear understanding of the suite of solutions to deploy (new install, repair, change of solution), and the financial implications.Developing level of knowledge in all Security resources, including but not limited to 3rd party security guard service providers, CCTV, burglar and fire alarms.Familiarity with Life Safety devices, physical security protocol, and jurisdiction requirements.Developing ability to influence business termediate knowledge of Invoicing, scheduling, and budgetingCapacity to clearly articulate strategies to various groups throughout the organization.Developing aptitude for defining highly complex problems, collecting data, deciphering facts, and implementing solutions.3 to 5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education (Associates Degree) and experience.Additionally, this role will assume leadership of our Corp, DC, and Retail Security Programs. Completes position responsibilities with some level of interaction with direct leader. Incumbent will be expected to know when to make decisions and when to seek counsel.
