PRN Pre-Op/PACU RN - Wellington Endoscopy Center, is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team. Job SummaryThe RN is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all pediatric and adult patients. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN reports to the Manager of Peri-operative ServicesRequired Skills:Graduate of an accredited school of nursingMust have 2 year nursing license, ACLS, BLS and PALSStrong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstand principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients with changing medical priorities and ability to respond accordinglyKnowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errorsAbility to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when neededExcellent teaching skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsDemonstrate strong professional and ethical behaviorAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees.
