Together, we are building a better tomorrow for our customers, partners and communities.Position OverviewThe primary function of the Manager, Retail go-to-market (GTM) is to prepare and support teams in flawless execution of retail go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and projects. The Manager, Retail GTM guides their projects and collaborates cross-functionally across SEA teams to ensure customer experience is held at the highest standard. The Manager, Retail GTM will partner with the Retail Teams to manage and drive successful product launches and initiatives that encompasses training, merchandising, field teams, sales, marketing and customer insights while maintaining company brand guidelines. The Manager will partner with field sales operations for launch execution planning and hand off during key launch periods.Role and ResponsibilitiesSpecific responsibilities include:Lead highly visible Retail projects, initiatives, and product launches, while maintaining project timelines and company brand guidelinesEstablish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with cross functional teams including marketing, HQ team members, account teams, training, merchandising and customer insightsDevelop project road maps, identify key stakeholders, lead project meetings, maintain project status, provide updates, establish key learnings and insights, follow up and drive projects to completionHelp develop and execute Retail GTM strategies, and socialize progress, performance, and best practices with HQ and other cross-functional teamsProjects and initiatives could include: mobile device product launches, connected device projects, strategic customer experience initiatives, and othersEnsures alignment between all Retail stakeholders in GTM strategies, updates, and handoffsIdentify newer, better, and more efficient ways of going to market in a highly matrixed organizationStays current with project and product management company operational processesShepherd cross-functional team members through the launch process and see that major deadlines and deliverables are metSkills and QualificationsBackground & Competencies Required:Bachelor''s Degree with at least 6 years of experience preferably in business or project management; an MBA is preferredUnderstands how to navigate SEA organization and demonstrated an ability to drive for resultsExperience in the telecommunications and/or wireless industry requiring management of account management, program management, business planning, project management, or equivalent work experience in planning or operations is preferredPreferred: 2+ years of Management Consulting experienceProduct management experience requiredDemonstrable experience in developing presentations using a variety of PC applications, including word processing, Excel spreadsheet, and PowerPoint.Necessary Skills and attributes:History of managing ambiguity, complexity, and working well under stressHighly organized and effective time management skillsAbility to influence others through work ethic, delivering resultsAbility to listen well, think strategically and creatively to solve problems, gain alignment, and move to action through influencePhysical/Mental Demands:Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity. The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines. Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC''s, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel varies depending on position.
