CDL HAZMAT / MEDICAL DELIVERY DRIVER

Contractor Incentive: $500 after 90 days of contracting work and another $500 after 180 days of contracting work. A leading medical courier company has an immediate need for delivery service providers (CDL Class C DOT Hazmat Drivers - Independent Contractors) with routes to and from New Brighton, MN that will be delivering radiopharmaceuticals. Please be advised that the majority of our clients REQUIRE you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This will affect route assignments if you cannot prove vaccination status. Contract Details:ROUTE 1 - Cedar Rapids to New Brighton approx. 515 miles three stops Sunday-Wednesday (with the occasional Thursday)ROUTE 2 - New Brighton to Marshfield, WI approx. 350 miles no stops direct delivery Sunday- Wednesday (with the occasional Thursday)ROUTE 3 - New Brighton to Moorhead, MN approx. 464 miles no stops direct delivery Sunday onlyContract Time Frames:Sunday: Late afternoons to late eveningsMonday: Late afternoons to midnightTuesday: Late afternoons to midnightWednesday: Late afternoons to midnightCompensation: Route 1- $.88 a mile (Based off of the Sunday to Wednesday schedule it comes to an average of $94,265.60 annually) This number does not include the occasional Thursday routes Route 2 - $.88 a mile (Based off of the Sunday to Wednesday schedule it comes to an average of $64,064 annually) This number does not include the occasional Thursday routes Route 3 - $.88 a mile (Based off of the Sunday contract comes to an average of $21,232.64 annually)Requirements for Contract: A valid CDL - C class drivers license with Hazmat Endorsement Required Valid DOT Med Card Drivers must be able to lift up to 100lbs, the ability to provide their own tie down straps and sturdy dolly with a capacity of up to 100lbsCarries 100k/300k bodily injury and property damage primary auto insurance21 year of age or older Must also be fluent in English Is fully vaccinated against Covid-19 Drivers must have a reliable vehicle for this contract. A SUV or MINI VAN is required 1099 Contractor delivery experience preferred, but not required Requires sharp attention to detail and a strong ability to keep a scheduleMust be willing and able to drive in inclement weather (i.e. snow, ice, rain, wind) GPS knowledgeable Apple or Android based smart phone for delivery coordination Collecting electronic proof of delivery at every stop (POD''S) Medical Courier Perks & Pay: Spill kits are provided free of charge for drivers DOT & function-specific hazmat training provided free of charge ACI will supply door magnets with DOT and Radioactive placards Weekly pay Contractor Settlements:Associated Couriers utilizes a contract management platform called Openforce. Since independent contractors own their own business, there are fees associated with owning your own business.Weekly Deductions: Openforce Platform Fee Commissions more than $300 gross $11.75 Commissions less than $300 gross $6.75 Insurance Processing Fees $2.00 (regardless of gross commissions) Great American Insurance Group (Occupational Accident) Premium 2% of gross settlements per week per Independent Contractor and Subcontractors (up to a $60 maximum deduction)
