Founded in 1983, the firm is known for its distinctive restructuring heritage, hands-on approach and relentless focus on execution and results.Alvarez & Marsal''s Disputes and Investigations practice is seeking a Manager for its team in Chicago.Responsibilities:Provide support on complex accounting related matters and disputes (example project types include investigations, forensic accounting, post-acquisition disputes, and litigation support)Assist with drafting reports and other client deliverablesAssist with researching technical and industry specific issuesDevelop and suggest solutions to complex problems by thinking ''outside the box''Balance multiple client projects and other responsibilitiesCommunicate effectively to all levels of engagement managementSupervise, develop, and motivate staffDevelop client relationships and assist with business developmentQualifications:CPA designation requiredAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft ExcelProficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint5 to 7+ years of experience in public audit and/or a forensic and dispute consulting practiceExperience with post-acquisition disputes (including purchase price disputes and representations and warranties insurance claims) a plusMust have flexibility to travelExcellent written and oral communication skillsDiversity & InclusionA&M''s entrepreneurial culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who can positively impact our clients and shape our industry.
