The CoE Director oversees the capabilities, roadmap, innovation, and development of new capabilities, enabling the pathway for successful deployments of innovative processes and systems. The CoE Director will contribute to IT strategies and support IT Leadership to advance the strategic goals at Stand Out For Good by delivering transformational capabilities in partnership with key stakeholders. This will be done by building a world-class culture and a highly skilled team that is empowered and accountable. Specific ResponsibilitiesAccountable for the Retail Centre of Excellence (CoE) including people development & coaching, capabilities, solution delivery, capability roadmap and product lifecycle management. Clearly communicates the IT strategic vision and goals for the IT Development team that supports business objectives and can execute and coach to that vision.Able to communicate and work collaboratively with diverse leaders, across all levels of the organization, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects. Lead and enable cross functional thinking spanning the technology landscape to fully leverage the technology investments. Drives the execution of the CoE Roadmap, supporting the achievement of business and IT objectives (financial, core strategic partners, etc.) Accountable for solution design & delivery (cost, schedule, scope), including mitigation of risks and issues, to be aligned with business objectives Deliver with a focus on enhancing the customer experience Leads and continually coaches to develop a highly functioning team, delivering technical solutions resulting in business value and customer satisfaction Leads the CoE by example to be creative and innovative with solution delivery leveraging their knowledge and awareness of industry trends and technical advances as they relate to the CoE scope Drives innovation through platform knowledge and ensuring the overall user and guest experience is aligned with business strategy and requirements Leverage knowledge of industry best practices, new innovative and emerging capabilities and technologies within the scope of the CoEBalance costs to drive/deliver world class servicesCollaborates across CoEs to support alignment, prioritization, planning, dependencies, resource allocation and prioritization Partners with the IT Team to define and adhere to operating policies and standards leveraging ITIL Framework and IT best practices Develops and proactively manages CoE budgets and forecasts. Has accountability for project budgets. Accountable for defining and owning CoE capabilities in alignment with business objectives and system capabilities. Creates the concept of a capability catalogue and ensures that it is maintained and socialized with key Retail stakeholders. Develop and leverage strong vendor partnerships, with approved vendors, in alignment with IT objectives, including new edge vendors, to ensure the best performance and financial return.Leading team through change utilizing effective change management techniquesEnsure value for Stand Out. For Good in all vendor contracts and SOWs Leadership and Communications:Attracts, motivates, develops, and retains highly skilled team members and creates an environment that values teamwork, open communication, learning, an acceptance of change and accountability Accountable for maintaining/managing a CoE view of capacity and resource allocation by capability area including allocation of resources to projects across different CoEs according to company priorities Ensures IT resources are allocating their time and resources efficiently to meet technology demands and other strategic initiatives. Possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Comfortable with ambiguity; can handle the unexpected with flexibility. A team player who favors collaborative approaches when working with internal and external partners. Proven ability to build trust with others through a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.IT DevelopmentKnowledge of marketing and OMS technology solutions; able to select and integrate the most appropriate technologies to support the business.Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive solutionsExperience designing and managing an effective IT governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery.Outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.A strong background in operational and IT budget developmentDisplay consistent executive presence, professionalism and good judgment.ExperienceThe Direct CoE Director should possess 5-7 years of IT leadership experience 3-5 of related management experience in marketing and order management systems solution delivery, leading technical teams and achieving timely and effective results through others, both internal and external to the organization. Demonstrated success building strong partnerships with key business stakeholders Proven success managing budgets, prioritization, performance, and vendor management required.
