Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA''s Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA''s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Optical Metrology Division products are used for optical overlay metrology. The portfolio of products includes unique solution packages which are based on hardware and software systems to enhance yield and effectiveness. As a world leader in its field of expertise, the division''s products are the most advanced in performance (measurement accuracy of nanometers and below), reliability, ease of use and compatibility with other KLA''s products. KLA (Israel) controls over 80% of the world market sales in its field, and its products are used by every major semiconductor manufacturer around the world. KLA Israel is located in the Migdal Haemek Industrial Park.Drive the development and execution of design validation plans for new and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) on new and existing product lines to meet customer performance requirements.Generate and release the product Bill of Material (BOM) and integration, calibration, and setup procedures.Develop manufacturing documentation and CAD drawings to transition new products to ManufacturingBuild solid expertise in overall system operation, integration, and calibrations/diagnostics with a hands-on approach by learning from Tech Support Engineers and Design Engineers to better support Alpha & Beta Systems.Work with design engineers to coordinate prototype material orders.Develop new packaging and design for manufacturing improvements to new and existing products.Support the field service team by coordinating the assembly, testing, and shipment of spare parts and field replaceable assemblies.Create, review, and submit engineering change orders (ECOs) to resolve design issues and improve manufacturability/serviceability.Possess strong communication skills and make decisions based on data.Motivated self-starter who is fast-learning, capable of working independently, and can effectively coordinate with a globally distributed team.Ability to travel domestic & foreign. Bachelor''s degree in engineering (optical, electrical, mechanical, systems) or physics or related technical field, or more than 5 years of demonstrated ability in the NPI role.Expertise using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorksExperience with building and aligning mechanical robotic systems is desirable.Experience with Semiconductor Capital Equipment a plus.Minimum QualificationsBS Mechanical Engineering + 5 years experienceCOVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required where permitted by law.
