As Accounts Payable (AP) Processing Specialist- you will be responsible for carrying out transactional tasks within the accounts payable process and escalating and resolving issues as they arise. This includes executing payments according to the proper AP workflow, policies and procedures. You will also handle, track, and match purchase orders, invoices, and goods received. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager - this position will be located in Tampa, FL*. Major Accountability Process accounts payable, reimbursements, employee/other expenses, and advances Execute payments after manager''s approval Maintain and manage electronic commerce Research and resolve exceptions Respond to complex AP inquiries and resolve inquiries Capture and report relevant tax information Understand the AP function''s role, key policies, and standard operating procedures Key Responsibilities Process reimbursements, employee/other expenses, and advances. Execute payments after manager''s approval. Research and resolve exceptions to reimbursements Oversee tax processing and capture and report relevant tax information Respond / resolve more complex AP inquiries Perform month-end tasks. Review Credit / AP month-end activities with AP Manager. Assist with quarterly/ annual audits. Maintain and manage electronic commerce Facilitate workflow traffic of payment approval, processing, and executing Perform quality assurance of transactional activities Job Requirements Bachelor''s Degree; preferably Accounting/Finance or business-related degree; with a minimum of one year of closely related Accounting/Finance experience is required. Will consider a minimum of 5 years of closely related experience in lieu of degree. Processing/Exception Handling experience is required. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Relevant software applications experience is preferred - Oracle, QAD, Coupa, Ariba, Vim, Strong analytical and mathematical skills Customer service experience Basic verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced and multi-task environment Must be well organized and able to function within tight deadlines. *Welbilt, Inc. provides the world''s top chefs, premier chain operators and growing independents with industry-leading equipment and solutions.
