Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer to assist in the performance of structural NDE inspections for aerospace, process, and petro chemical clients on various pressure systems and vessels. The position performs and self-manages inspections for an existing client base and is responsible for developing relations and business opportunities with existing and new clients. This is a non-destructive examination position focused on satisfying customer needs, performing NDE inspections to industry standards (ASNT, ASME, AWS) and growing the GP NDE presence in the local market area. They will accomplish this by meeting face to face with customers to ensure customer requirements are understood, performing NDE field work, and assisting in developing capability presentations, and when necessary, accompanying sales personnel to meet with current and potential customers. Located at Cape Canaveral, FL. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: The successful candidate will perform NDE examinations, verify calculations, review reports from other staff, lead results discussions with customers, write reports and support the screening and hiring of additional NDE personnel as required. May require varied hours and work schedules. * Performing non-destructive testing processes and applications. * Proven competence in identifying issues and developing successful solutions. * Increase NDE capabilities, and customer base. * Assist in market analysis, proposal identification and development, and sales. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Self-motivated with a strategic mindset * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills. * Specific industry knowledge relevant to NDE of process systems. * 10+ years of successful process systems NDE experience. * Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance Education Requirement: * Bachelors Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
