Available to be scheduled six (6) shifts per 4 week schedule and two (2) weekend shifts per 4 week period. (Weekends include shifts beginning Friday at 1900 hours and ending Monday at 0700 hours). 2. Available to work one (1) major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year''s Day) and two (2) minor holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor Day) per calendar year. Department Directors will have the right to fairly distribute the major holidays among the per diem staff. 3. Scheduled to work in areas at St. Bernardine Medical Center for which qualified, according to organization and business needs. 4. Requires minimum of two (2) years acute care RN experience. The Acute Dialysis Staff Nurse is responsible and accountable for acute dialysis treatments and related duties as prescribed by the Nephrologist and in accordance with Dignity Health policies and procedures. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center''s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities. Qualifications Minimum of 2 year experience in an acute and/or chronic dialysis unit Required. Flexible with schedule and able to take ''on call'' schedule. Good communication skills. Licensed be the state of California as a Registered Nurse and a current BCLS, and ACLS certification.
