By focusing R&D efforts on four therapeutic areas and other targeted investments, we push the boundaries of what is possible in order to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.Join Takeda as a Manager, R&D Asset Transition and Integration Office (RATIO) Business Operations where you will partner with the asset wind-down, externalization and integration department colleagues to increase efficiency of the various processes, enhance teamwork within and outside of the department, identify innovations and create solutions in order to solve critical business issues. You will lead initiatives, support communications, enhance knowledge sharing and promote employee engagement. As part of the R&D Divestment Office, you will report to the Head of R&D Divestment Office and collaborate with internal and external partners.How you will contribute:Support functional activities across asset wind down, divestments, acquisitions, and externalizations, working closely with various R&D stakeholdersIdentifies and leads innovative process improvements with significant organizational impact and manages, as needed, non-project responsibilities, which can include processes and system optimizations.Leads departmental communication strategies and tacticsResponsible for all contracts processes, interfacing directly with Procurement, Contracts, Legal, Compliance and Finance and Ariba P2P support.Works closely with finance and contracted vendors to manage department financials, including accruals, invoices, management of dependently drives proactive management and forecasting of department budgetsCoordinate department onboarding processes, support departmental training matrix management, and any manage any related compliance requirements Creates and delivers KPIs and program status reports for RATIO as neededWith direction, create key communications, post materials to information platforms and support IT related activities (e.g., distribution lists, mailbox management) Independently manages activities associated with outsourcing work to external vendors (e.g., support of governance meetings and invoice practices)Manage RATIO training matrix to ensure training requirements for program management, regulatory and PV members remains aligned with global functionsServe as Project Manager for various initiatives in setting up charters, developing risk management plans and executing on implementation plans for the RATIO functionResponsible for the development of RATIO controlled documents and other business process materialsDevelops, manages and maintains playbooks and guides for RATIO activities, ensuring they are refreshed regularly; partners with enabling functions (CEI, Finance, HR, etc) to ensure latest practices/policies are incorporated into playbooks and guidesMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree in science or business-related field requiredAdvanced Degree in science or business preferred5 years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentations)Experience with global drug development, contract management, commercialization and strategic planning preferredSignificant experience leading cross-functional initiatives to achieve challenging objectivesProven ability to influence others and build consensus among heterogeneous stakeholdersExperience working with MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Sharepoint as well as the development, implementation and maintenance of a website, homepage and/or other communication media (preferred)What Takeda can offer you:Comprehensive Healthcare: Medical, Dental, and VisionFinancial Planning & Stability: 401(k) with company match and Annual Retirement Contribution PlanHealth & Wellness programs including onsite flu shots and health screeningsGenerous time off for vacation and the option to purchase additional vacation daysCommunity Outreach Programs and company match of charitable contributionsFamily Planning SupportFlexible Work PathsTuition reimbursementMore about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
