Advanced Financial and Consulting Services has an exciting opportunity for a Managed Care Authorization Specialist. This role will:Oversee all aspects of obtaining Managed B Therapy authorizations including required documentation, maintaining Therapy Tracking Logs and uploading all backup into the current software systemAssist the Regional Case Manager with obtaining extended and final authorizations from Managed Care payersTake part in Monthly Quad check meetings including verifying all approved levels, rates, diagnosis codes and dates of serviceParticipate in weekly skilled nursing facility utilization meetings Attain discharge summaries as needed or directed by the Regional Case managerProvide the Regional Case Manager backup when needed.What''s in it for you?
