Job Description Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is searching for an experienced hardware engineer to join our Microelectronics Security Division. We are seeking a mid- to senior-level hardware engineer who is experienced in FPGA design and FPGA design security. This position will focus on working with a wide range of groups to evaluate their implementation of FPGA design processes, best practices, and standards. Core tasks in this area include: * Developing and reviewing best practices and standards for FPGA design * Working with audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding to convey standards and requirements * Technical review of FPGA design and test data for accuracy and completeness regarding requirements * Evaluating a wide variety of best practices and standards implementations and writing detailed reports This person must have strong communication, analysis, technical writing, and project management skills to successfully drive and document activities with FPGA design teams. The correct person for this position must be flexible in tasking as the area continues to develop and may require similar work in the areas of microelectronics packaging and ASIC design. We are looking for someone that is able to work independently but who also possesses excellent people skills to work with varying entities to develop and review requirements tailored to each project. This person needs to be quick learning and detail oriented. This person needs to have the project management skills required to ensure timelines and project requirements are met. This position is within a fast-paced and mission-driven team environment with government and contractor personnel. There may be some travel associated with this position.
