Job Number: R0142518 Software Solutions Architect, Senior Manager Key Role: Work closely with the firm''s cross-functional teams to recommend and identify disruptive te chn ologies with a foc us on open architectures and solutions that improve DoD c us tomer and system performance. Act as an operational subject matter expert in integrating defense market, with specific Booz Allen IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging te chn ologies and market targets of opportunity for marketing and implementation and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and b us iness planning are fully integrated to increase b us iness capability and value, reduce cost and risk, foster innovation, and maximize accountability and return on investment. Interact frequently with internal and external management and senior-level c us tomer representatives concerning Booz Allen investments, c us tomer projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications. Lead briefings and te chn ical meetings for internal and external representatives. Perform as the go-to person to integrate b us iness goals and objectives with specific IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging sof tware and open system te chn ologies and how to implement those and work alongside leadership to ensure IT and b us iness planning are fully integrated on a continuo us basis to increase b us iness capability and value to our clients. Basic Qualifications: * 10+ years of experience with sof tware engineering, systems engineering, or data engineering * Experience with solutions engineering for the DoD * Experience with the application of Agile practices, principles, and patterns and fielding operational System of System architectures * Experience with Developer Operations (DevOps) support for continuo us integration and continuo us delivery methodologies * Experience with managing multiple parallel te chn ical projects and project teams * Knowledge of Enterprise-scale architecture and the application to Cloud platform transformation * Ability to c ond uct te chn ology assessments and market analysis * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive-level briefing materials and delivery * Secret clearance * Bachelor''s degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience with Developer Secure Operations (DevSecOps) * Experience with open system architectures and Sof tware, Platform, and Infrastructure as-a-Service us ing Cloudera or MapR * Experience with Hybrid architectures in communication challenged environments * Experience with government acquisition and proposal response * Knowledge of Java, Angular 2.0, C, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, or Hadoop * TS/SCI clearance * AWS or Azure Certification * Agile Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
