Back End Developer

TITLE: Back End Developer Location: Chicago, IL We are building on our legacy and looking for innovative, highly-competent individuals to join our team. As an Application Developer on our Web Development Team, you will help design and deliver our web/mobile application strategy for the company. This role will have oversight of enhancements and implementations for our digital platforms. While we encourage development of all cross-functional skills, this role will focus on back-end web development and services. You will be asked to grow with us while introducing new ideas and development best practices. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining key functions within our application portfolio, from layout to function and according to customer''s specifications. * Apply and integrate technologies such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java, REST APIs and web services to build and test web-based applications. * Participate in Agile release cycles as part of a team, providing recommendations on software design that capitalize on the strengths and capabilities of our technology stack. * Engage with business partners to understand needs and translate into technology driven solutions. * Evaluate emerging technology for applicability to business and technical requirements. * Follow secure development practices and periodically evaluate platforms for security risks and vulnerabilities. * Promote company values and be a role model in the department. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other IT related field * Must be well versed in all aspects of application development with hands-on Java programming experience * Experience with standard Java development tools (Eclipse, Maven, etc.) * Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Angular, and React * Knowledge of SOAP/REST based integrations using JSON and XML * Knowledge of CI/CD development practices and Agile methodology * Knowledge of Java Content Repository (JCR) and Content Management System (CMS) * General SQL knowledge including data design and querying functions * Web/Mobile development experience using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery * Knowledge of Groovy, Python, Emacs and other command-line tools * Good grasp of security principles and how they apply to application development * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills About Infinity Consulting Solutions At Infinity Consulting Solutions our mission is to cultivate successful long term relationships with candidates and clients matching the right candidate with the right client.
