OverviewThe Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of collecting the patient''s medical history, following a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse, intervention, implementation, and evaluation under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Provider.2. Effectively interacts with patients and their employers while maintaining standards of professional nursing.3. Serves as a working leader in conjunction with the Medical Office Assistant for clinic processes.4. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and governmental standards.5. Provides care to patients in a clinic setting and plant settings.6. Other duties as assigned. Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program.Skills: The individual must be able to prioritize a wide variety of tasks, make decisions, meet tight timeframes, adjust to unexpected or unscheduled demands, and revise work accordingly.Years of Experience: Previous nursing experience in a clinical setting. Good organizational and communication skills, including observation, listening and interviewing skills. License: Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Certification: Certified Professional Collector(CPC) for drug screens, NIOSH approved Spirometry training, certification as a Breath Alcohol technician, and certification as an Audiometric Technician all are required within 6 months of hire or transfer. Ohio Driver''s licensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSYears of Experience: One to three years experience in an Occupational Health setting.
