Advanced knowledge of budget preparation and project costing. Experience in technical writing of deliverables including work plans, quality program documents, summary reports, and project correspondence Experience with AutoCAD software (Auto CADD 3D, ICPR, WaterCAD, StormCAD) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent supervisory, leadership, and team building skills. Ability to write and negotiate contracts for services, consultants, and contractors. Ability to prioritize and manage diverse responsibilities within allotted time and/or budget. Ability to manage, coordinate and delegate tasks in all project phases. Ability to provide quality internal and external client services. This includes assessing client needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating client satisfaction. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to manage projects within budgetary and time constraints without sacrificing quality.Role Summary:RWA is seeking a Senior Project Manager with the opportunity to further develop their professional consulting and design capabilities with an increased emphasis on direct client contact and service, permitting endeavors, management, and interdisciplinary technical expertise. Individuals in this position are expected to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using accurate judgment in making adaptations and modifications to fulfill project, client, and company objectives. This role will be based out of the Naples office, but will have the opportunity to work with all office locations in southwest Florida. This individual will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple teams within the firm including other engineering teams, Community Development and Planning, Surveying and Mapping, and Permitting. What you''ll do: Project Management: Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines. Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports. Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans. Develop project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing. Review interim work products/submittals and provide needed feedback regarding accuracy, completeness, and value. Prepare winning proposals in conjunction with other personnel involved with the project. Deliver profitable projects by preparing and maintaining project workplans/CADD Workbooks. Report on project status, such as budget, resources, technical issues, or customer satisfaction. Resolve project-related technical problems and personnel issues.Client Service: Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs. Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials. Submit project deliverables to clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Ensure the preparation of accurate, complete, and value-added work products by monitoring and improving the document delivery process. Maintain continuous open communication among client and firm team members.Supervision: Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel. Monitor the performance of project team members to provide performance feedback.
