We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify and establish inventory strategies to meet market requested lead-timeDevelop planning BOMs based on BOM structure and probability of usageCollaborate with the supply chain team to ensure alignment of inventory targets to the forecast plan and the supply plan (order to demand, VMI, consignment, blanket orders, etc.) Lead planning contact for R&D projects (material risk mitigation, release planning, etc.)Key contributor in data flow to optimize purchasing strategies, inventory, material handling and manufacturing resourcesTake key role in the implementation and execution of the SAP GIB Planning tool in 2022 Ensure data integrity of our SAP systemActively participate, identify and lead continuous improvement projectsCollaboration with Purchasing, Production Development, Operations, Product Centers, R&D and Project Management with the ability to influence and attain agreed upon executable plansRequired Skills Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and GIBUnderstanding of master data, production control, supply chain, manufacturing and the integration of these areas into the strategic and tactical planning environmentProficient in risk and constraint mitigation with the strong analytical and problem solving skillsEffective communicator with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment to achieve balanced business objectives with focus on customer satisfactionEducation & ExperienceBachelor''s degree with 5+ years of supply chain experience, or 8+ years of supply chain experience in lieu of a degreePrefer experience with production planning, labor analysis and/or capacity planningExperience in lean manufacturing, pull systems and SAPINFICON provides a dynamic work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
