Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific East Hanover site for periodic live meetings will be at the employee''s expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager. This position may require up to 20% travel. This is a US based position. We''re committed to peak performance, improving the quality of life, and embracing and leveraging diverse backgrounds, cultures, and talents to achieve competitive advantage.The ED, Analytical Data Products & Reporting Solutions is responsible for leading, designing, building, and evangelizing the ''next-generation'' of what should be measured and how it should be delivered through Analytical Data Products & Reporting solutions for Novartis Innovative Medicines US. This leader will partner with IM Commercial Leadership and DIA Leadership to define the internal and external factors that affect our commercial performance, develop clear and actionable KPIs, and deliver self-service reporting solutions that provide forward visibility to our business leaders. Further, this role will partner with IM Commercial Leadership to drive business outcomes and drive value realization.The data and reporting solutions are aimed at driving actions from insights; hence, it is important that the leader can understand the key insights from data and present those insights in a compelling way. This leader will be responsible for building and launching Analytical Data Products that fit with critical management processes and which decrease the time to insights, enabling analytics at scale and speed to support new ways of working across all next generation engagement channels for patients, HCPs, pharmacists, and payers in a customer centric fashion. For this reason, it is important that the leader has experience in building data, AI and reporting ''products'' at scale. Experience in working with analytical workbenches and machine learning operations, analytics & reporting ready data models is important for this role.Data products are vital for achieving the vision of DIA of self service and automation of analytics. These data products are aimed at reducing the time for manual data preparation for analytical use cases such as dynamic targeting, resource allocation and next best actionsTo accelerate the transformation of our reporting solutions, this role will be part of the DIA Leadership team, enabling a level of alignment and decision clarity to empower this role to implement new solutions at speed. This Executive Director is also a key member of the US IM Strategic Data Products Leadership Team, reporting to the Head, Strategic Data Products. This role will have the responsibility to ensure that Novartis IM US is operating at scale and driving customer engagement with appropriate analytical data products & reporting solutions, and will be accountable for strategy, enablement, governance, processes, technologies, and policies. Strong knowledge of AI/ML trends and solutions, facilitating interactions and setting up operations is required, as this team will enable running of multiple algorithms in parallel, working with data scientists to tune and promote the algorithms with the strongest fit and explanatory value in given situations. This leader is responsible to closely partnering across IM US Integrated marketing, Customer Engagement, IT, and third-party vendors, and is responsible for the strategic and tactical decision making across the group.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Be the strategic thought leader to the business for defining, aligning, and harmonizing impactful commercial KPIs, to create single source of truth and enable discoverability of these KPIs for use across the range of reporting and analytics solutions* Developing reporting solutions capabilities; rooted in deep insights and storyboarding, and effectively influence stakeholders and communicate findings cross-functionally to secure management action.* Develop and manage long term Analytical Data Products/Reporting Solutions strategy and drive execution for IM US to support the analytic priorities, business intelligence, sales operations, marketing, digital, and Patient services operations.* Lead the development and continuous improvement of groups of ML algorithms which evaluate drivers of commercial performance across a range of situations.* Focus on driving business value through product-based approach, agile execution, and effective change management to ensure efficient delivery and greater adoption and integration of analytics insights within the business processes* Define and set parameters for achieving strategic and shared goals.
