Respiratory Therapist

OverviewDescription/Purpose of PositionPerforms all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality, and accuracy. Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer. Prior Pulmonary Function Tech, working with Patients that need to be providing oversite for our Pulmonary Service line. Communicates effectively with Multiple discipline Team. Service Excellence skills. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be a graduate of an AMA approved Certified Respiratory Therapist program or equivalent, certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.Must be licensed by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in good standing. Current BLS certification requiredACLS (Required in Critical Care Areas)NRP required to work NICUPALS (Or obtained within 6 months of employment)
