Senior - Principal System Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None Next Century, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CACI, is seeking multiple Classified Senior/Principal Systems Engineers to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD! Be part of the movement! Join a large seven-year multi-program contract serving as the enterprise-wide analyst capabilities contract for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer. These efforts will include the development and sustainment of integrated, feature-rich capabilities that promote the modernizing of visualization and presentation tools across the agency space. Joining our team could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reshape the way our customers perform their mission. To be successful as a Sr/Principal System Engineer, you will need: * Perform high-level system and software analysis, development, engineering, interfacing, design, testing, and implementation of very complex applications through knowledge of administrative, and technical skills* Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation and make charts and graphs to record results* Experience with Shell, Python, Ruby, Puppet, Ansible and Git for document support* Experience with Prometheous, Grafana, Loki , MASH, C2S, AZURE, PIRANHAS, RIO, Jenkins, and Rancher/Helm * Experience with Elastic Stack, Nagios/Naemon, CollectID, Kafka, Cassandra, and Splunk for logging, monitoring, and reporting on system, tool, and user activity* Direct and participate in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases* Work closely with systems stakeholders by planning the verification efforts of new and unproven designs in early development life cycle stages to ensure compliance with established requirements* Implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions using both operational and technical standards view for architecture using applicable DoD AF Standards* Bachelor''s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university AND 14-20 years'' experience as a Systems Engineer OR 5 additional year of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of degree* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required What We Can Offer You: * We''ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.* Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.* We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.* We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation''s highest priorities.* For over 55 years, the principles of CACI''s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.
