These may include surgical assisting, inpatient management, preoperative and postoperative evaluations and staff/patient education. In addition, the incumbent oversees the day-to-day operation of the function, ensuring that standards of care are met and that all required daily checks, chart documentation meet standards as well as daily call to patients. The NP''s are granted privileges as outlined by the Medical Staff Bylaws and their privilege list.
