Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Hill AFB in Utah. LinQuest is seeking a qualified Senior Systems Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustaining efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system at the Strategic Missile Integration Complex (SMIC). The SMIC is a world-class Test and Evaluation facility that is used to test and simulate nuclear and ballistic missile systems. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a highly-skilled and talented team that researches, upgrades, designs, builds and tests missile test equipment and supporting systems. Responsibilities: * Support the customer on systems engineering and integration, risk management, technical assessment, acquisition program management, strategy development, organization and change management, interface with operations and logistics, business analysis, mission effectiveness, and ICBM demonstration/validation.* Technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. * Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. * Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.Required Skills: * Manages own time to plan and complete elements of assigned projects* Excellent computer skills with MS Office suite to prepare metrics, reports and documents* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing* Attention to detail, coupled with good time management and organization skills* Sound interpersonal skills for interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliersRequired Experience: * BS/MS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Degrees in other engineering disciplines as Mechanical, Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc. from an accredited program with the right skill-set will also be considered.* 7+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor''s degree, 5+ years of experience with a Masters degree* Knowledge of the Minuteman ICBM weapon system* Experience in ICBM Systems Engineering practices* Active Secret clearance required to be considered for this positionPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills: * Minuteman III Weapon System and/or SMIC Systems Experience.* Technical experience in product development, system modeling and project management.* Attention to detail, including good time management and organization skills.* Experience creating professional documents, presentations and spreadsheets with MS Office.* Computer programming experience.
