We are seeking Electrical Engineer(s) I at the following sites:Largo, FloridaMarlborough, MassachusettsYou will be a member of a multi-disciplinary group of System, Hardware and Software Engineers. As an Electrical Engineer I, you will be a member of an Integrated Program Team (IPT)) creating complex digital electronic modules and/or circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that utilize processors, memories, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), System on Chip (SOC), and Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs). Development activities may also include laboratory integration, test and evaluation, fault isolation of prototype hardware, and system qualification testing support. Join our dynamic, diverse, and rapidly growing team.Excellent growth opportunities.Job Description:The Electrical Engineer I will be an integral part of the Engineering team and have a fundamental understanding of the following areas:Generate digital CCA requirements based on the system architectureGenerate digital documentation that describes the hardware architectureHigh speed digital circuit designPerform various analyses and simulations for the electronic module Verify electronic module functionality in laboratory environmentSecurity Clearance & Other Requirements:U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.Required Experience:Familiar with Hardware design with processors, FPGAs, memory components and typical industry interfacesFamiliar with using logic analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, and/or target device debugging tools.Familiar with PCB design tasks and design tools (schematic capture)This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)Desired Experience:Mentor Graphics Design creation tools, DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, and Constraint Editor System (CES)Mentor Graphics PCB design software, HyperLynx , Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB)Familiar with communication interfaces and bus standards (e.g., SPI, I2C, PCIe, UART, VME, or Gb Ethernet).Knowledge of software and/or FPGA code developmentGeneration of routing rules for CAD instruction Familiarity with OpenVPX technology including VITA standards The ability to coordinate with SMEs to help develop PWB fab stack-ups Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation} and ability to effectively communicate with leadership.Required Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Computer or Electrical or Computer Science by summer of 2023.
