This position will be located in Roy, Utah with some travel to Promontory, Utah and Vandenberg AFB, California and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Candidate will be a manager supporting test automation, verification, and the technical support team as part of IATC (Integration Assembly Test and Checkout). This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force''s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What you will get to do:* Develop, perform, and document tests, includes test planning, test execution, data analysis and documenting test results as part of the IATC (Integration Assembly Test and Checkout) team* Support a team of engineers whose primary focus will be on automation to remove the ''human in the loop'' to gain schedule, cost, and remove human error* Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for systems and element capabilities* Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness and compliance of the test program* Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, and support modeling and simulation and performance analysis* Site and flight test support for Segment level requirements* Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal* Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements* Create technical reports and present test and analysis results* Coordinate integrated testing activities working in a dynamic people-focused environment* Interface with internal and external customers* Manage a team of high performing engineers across multiple engineering disciplinesAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:* Medical, Dental & Vision coverage* 401k* Educational Assistance* Life Insurance* Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions* Paid Time Off* Health & Wellness Resources* Employee DiscountsThis position''s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor Degree in a STEM field with at least 8 years of relevant experience* At least 3 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule* US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher awarded within the past 6 years* 1 year of demonstrated experience in test planning and test execution, or automation developmentPreferred Qualifications:* US Citizenship with an Active Top Secret Clearance (awarded within the past 5 years) with capability for SAP access* Prior Experience or knowledge of ICBM test methodologies* Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams and customers* Demonstrated knowledge and use of instrumentation and data acquisition type systems* CAM and EVMS training* Project Management, risk and opportunities, and scheduling background* Understanding of Agile and Scrum principles and Model Based Systems Engineering* Travel for this position is expected up to 10% of the timeSalary Range: $134,200.00 - $201,400.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
