All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:A Quality Engineer supporting a US Navy Depot performing repairs of aircraft components. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer to support commodity depot efforts near Jacksonville, FL. This position reports to the Sustainment Supplier Quality Manager and is responsible for integration, coordination, oversight, and surveillance of supplied products at the depot site. Responsibilities include: Act as a liaison between the commodity depot, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, and the Original Equipment Manufacturer. Provide oversight of the depot Quality Management System in relationship to repair processes. Provide technical support related to quality engineering matters. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive action. Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement. Perform in-process surveillance and contractual agreement oversight. Support depot site stand-up and sustainment operations. Provide oversight of Implementation Agreements and apply data forensics. Effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Sub-contracts (Buyers) and Government Representatives. The position requires travel as required. Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:• Experience working within a multi-function and diverse team environment to integrate and deliver data and provide data forensics/analysis.• Possess ability to understand and communicate typical engineering and manufacturing concepts and processes.• Have experience with inspection processes and methods.• Able to read and interpret technical data.Desired Skills:• Depot operations experience.• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including AS9100, AS9110, FAR Part 145, and able to affect change & set policy of the QMS.• Experience with the following Lockheed Martin systems: ICA, SQMS Website, SQM Website, OAT/HUD, SAP, JDL, SFM, LDM and PQN.• Familiarization with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company Sustainment operations, policies and procedures in the areas of Training, MRO&U, and Supply.• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include: MS Excel/MS Project/MS Power Point/MS Word/MS Access.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
