Responsibilities Plans, monitors development of, and implements curriculum products and training for the Information Warfare (IW) community at Corry Station, Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) in Pensacola, FL. Manages the team of Instructional Designers, Instructional System Developers, and Database Administrator (DBA). Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Helps team manage multiple course and curricula through the NETC E2E cradle-to-grave process; the team prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology, and coordinates the development of training aids. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the NETC E2E process: Conducts training sessions, interfaces with the training managers (TM) for each schoolhouse, CIWT Instructional Systems Specialists (ISS), Training Specialists, and other Learning Standards Office staff as required. Requires prior technical subject matter knowledge and experience in the NETC E2E process. Must possess a SECRET clearance, an MTS, and have prior experience in the LSO or have been a TM for a training command. May require some travel to perform JDTA workshops. Must work on client site (Corry Station, Pensacola, FL). 1.Confers with management, employees and clients to gain knowledge of work situations requiring technical training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.2.Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.3.Trainers are expected to have technical expertise that demonstrates proficiency in NETC E2E.4.Continuously works with the DBA to ensure that TRR chits and other forms/reports are moving through the lifecycle/workflow process accordingly.5.Monitors and reports status and milestones to Training Managers and Senior Enlisted Leaders, in addition to Program Manager and other stakeholders as required. Qualifications High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience - 2 years working in a function of a Learning Standards Office of a US Navy Training Command OR previous experience as a Training Manager (TM) for a Navy Schoolhouse - SECRET Clearance - Prior Active Duty Service in US Navy - Master Training Specialist (MTS) Qualification Preferred Skills and Experience - Prior project management experience - BS in Education or Management field CJPOST
