SUMMARYThe Parts Counter Representative assists the customer in obtaining parts in an accurate and efficient manner ensuring the customer services objectives are met. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an orderly and well-kept Parts Department in accordance with the company policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: (This is a list of essential job duties but is not intended to be exhaustive. All duties listed may not be required at all locations.)Greet telephone and walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.Make outbound calls to customers and prospects in support of Company sales growth initiatives.Support inventory management initiatives by processing lost sales daily.Process Customer OrdersDetermine parts needed by analyzing information/description provided by the customer ï‚ Provide price quotes and information requested by the customer in a timely manner.Check parts inventory for needed customer items in stock and initiate special orders if necessary.Convert or cross references parts numbers in support of Trivista Companies, Inc.''s customer service objectivesInvoice charge customers or collects payment from cash customers ï‚ Pull parts for the shop and attach to repair orders as directed.Ensure that Special Ordered Parts receive priority and distribute to customers in a timely manner.Follow up on quotes given to customers.Process customer returns and warranty claims according to written policies.Assist in the physical inventory of the Parts Department.Maintain a clean and orderly work area according to Company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.
