MERC Mechanical Assembler

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing complex assembly procedures, rework, and repairs on oilfield manufactured equipment.Assemble complex equipment and products under limited supervision.May be required to disassemble units or components for repair.Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment.Identify product defects and notify appropriate personnel as defects are identified.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving parts.Other duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer
