Apheresis Tech II Req : 0000086016 Category: Laboratory and Medical Technologist Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Facility: RWJ Somerset Location: Blood Collection, 110 Rehill Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876 Responsibilities: To perform in the blood donor pre-donation screening, collection, and post collection tasks, to prepare blood components and to comply with all aspects of the Quality Assurance Plan and current Good Manufacturing Practices of the Blood Donor Program. Oversee the daily operation of Blood Donor Room in the absence of the Blood Donor Room Supervisor. Qualifications: Possess a diploma from a phlebotomy training school or phlebotomy course preferred. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Blood donor collection experiences preferred. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office a must.
