Company Description:Crossroads was founded on May 5, 2005 to serve a patient population battling with opioid addiction. Since its founding in 2005, we have been a physician led healthcare organization. The company has grown rapidly and now includes 90+ treatment centers in 10 states. Each member of the Crossroads team specializes in an area that supports the recovery of over 26,000 patients, monthly. Crossroads'' clinical staff includes physicians, pharmacists, counselors, nurses, and other service coordinators. Along with medication management, our staff works closely with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan aimed at building recovery and relapse prevention skills.Position Summary: We are seeking a strong Director of Nursing to provide centralized support and guidance for our nursing staff at our Opioid Treatment Program located in Suffolk, VA. The Director of Nursing is responsible of assisting in all areas of patient care, including physicals, and necessary tests in compliance with State and Federal laws and supervising the nursing staff, including pharmacy technicians and assistants.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned:Clinical:Prepare all paperwork needing MD signature.Approve/deny all medical orders per MD.Schedule annual physicals.Conduct patient education (pregnancy, hepatitis, etc.).Review lab work with plete patient referrals.Assess for over plete charts on patients.Schedule EKG''s/review MD''s recommendation regarding EKG results with patient.Perform bottle checks as needed.Supervisory:Schedule nursing/pharmacy staff.Order medical supplies.Prepare training and education for nursing staff.Conduct weekly nursing staff meeting.Make standard audit chart.Audit dose changes.Attend team meetings.Count medication inventory.Monitor dosing area for accuracy and efficiency.Review all inventory binders to ensure proper documentation of inventory.Review 222 binder for pharmacist signature.Ensure nursing staff license is current.Reconcile inventory reconciliations as needed.This Role Offers:Competitive SalaryFull Benefits (Health, Dental & Vision)Paid Time Off401K with Company MatchCareer Growth & Advancement OpportunitiesEarly Morning Hours - Enjoy your afternoons and weekends at homeContinuing Education/ License ReimbursementStrong Support NetworkPosition Requirements: The most qualified candidates will possess the following:A registered nurse (RN) license registered in the state of Virginia and will have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.At least three years'' experience as a RN.One year of supervisory experience. Experience in the field of addictions is preferred but not necessary.Must hold an active CPR Certification or be willing to obtain one. Experience treating opiate-addicted patients is a plus.Candidate must be willing to start early in the morning, as work hours start at 4:45 AM.No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program. Must have a valid driver''s license.
