Job DescriptionLI-DNIResponsibilitiesOracle EBS Applications DBA Sr. Principal Advanced Support EngineerLocation: Telecommuting / remote from anywhere within the US.Position OverviewThis position is for a Applications DBA with a technical background in the E-Business (EBS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Suite of products responsible for providing excellence in customer service support, track-incidence, diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution of complicated and critical cases.The primary role of a Support Analyst is to troubleshoot and resolve highly complex techno-functional problems.The focus of is to provide Customer Service on a technical and functional level and drive complete and total resolution of each service incident ultimately.The crucial skills used daily are - high level of techno-functional skills, Oracle products knowledge, problem-solving skills, and customer interaction/service expertise. It is an opportunity to work with Cloud and On-Premise customers. This work includes:Work directly with Customers forAdvising on complex use of Oracle productsResolving and managing critically important customer issuesCollaborate with internal stakeholders regarding resolution of crucial situations with customersKnowledge gain and sharing - achieve knowledge transfer with teammates through Development and delivery of formal team training sessionsProper mentoring to promote the technical and professional expertiseCreation/review of Knowledge ArticlesPreferred QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, with Master''s degree a plus or degrees in Engineering along with equivalence of 10-12 years related work experience.10+ years of experience in Implementation, support, or upgrade of Oracle EBS suite of ERP productsResolve high level, very complex, or previously unknown issues requiring expert Technical knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Fusion ApplicationsYour past expertise should lie in hands-on supporting Applications Tech Stack and performing Applications DBA role and related technologiesPerformance tuning of the Applications Tech Stack is a must.Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Weblogic server or other application servers is a must.Core Oracle DBA with RAC skills a must.
