RN - .4 FTE Nights; Charge

Position: RN + Charge shiftsDepartment: GlenFields; Long Term CareFTE: .4Shift: NightsThis position is responsible for monitoring all residents, family/visitor concerns, staffing needs, general welfare and safety of all residents and employees. He/She will observe the resident care in their designated area/s. The Registered Nurse is responsible for following facility policies and procedures, for notifying appropriate authorities and administration about any unusual problems and/or situations that may arise during their shift. The RN role would be expected to function as the Charge Nurse following an orientation period.Qualifications:* Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current Registered Nurse license from the State of Minnesota. License must be in good standing.* A true passion for working with Gerontological Nursing.* Compassion and empathy are a key component in this role and an expectation for our nursing staff.* Strong communication skills are required.
