We are currently hiring.About This Career OpportunityThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for providing housekeeping and laundry services that are responsive to the needs of the community. The Housekeeping Supervisor is also responsible for: Supervising laundry service for the communityOrganizing the completion of Housekeeping orders and performs Supervising the housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure that department duties are performed professionally and with high customer satsifactionRecruiting, hiring, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating department staffTraining department staff in housekeeping procedures and standardsSupervising contract services such as pest control, waste management, Cleaning and maintaining housekeeping equipmentManaging housekeeping and laundry inventory to ensure supplies are avaiable as neededMaintaining the security camera system, key fob system, and overall organization and maintenance of the security of housekeeping are keys and pagersPerforming housekeeping and laundry duties as needed Are You Qualified?Here''s what you need:High School DiplomaAt least 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping/maintenance in a residential community or similarPosses current First Aid CertificationMust be willing to be available after normal business hours for emergenciesAvailability to work beyond normal business hours, weekends, holidays and during severe weather situations when necessaryAvailability to work as weekend manager as scheduledGood organizational skillsAbility to handle competing demands in a flexible and positive mannerExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in diverse team environmentAbility to effectively communicate, oral and written, in the English language''Equal Employment Opportunity/M/F/disability/protected veteran status''PI188889878
